On the 14th Day of Christmas, Mims Davies MP presents - Wings Museum
The Wings Museum is a World War 2 Aviation Museum based in Balcombe, Sussex and is open Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 - 16:00.
The Wings Museum provides a fascinating insight into life during World War Two. Each artefact and item of memorabilia tells its own unique story, set alongside the sounds and music of the time. History appears to come alive in this unique nostalgic experience.
This fascinating museum is a totally voluntary organisation run by friendly, dedicated volunteers and has been open to the public for over 15 years.
The museum is a registered charity and also a member of Aviation Heritage UK, as well as being affiliated with the Royal Air Forces Association, RAFA.
Just some of their items on display include aero engines, airframes, cockpits, aircraft gun turrets, uniforms, medals, flying equipment, and hundreds of personal stories of war, sacrifice and courage.

"Welcome to the 14th Day of Christmas!
On the 14th Day of Christmas, I am pleased to present - Wings Museum.
As part of English Tourism Week this year, I had the great pleasure of visiting the Wings Museum near Balcombe.
This fabulous museum is full of amazing artefacts and exhibits form World War II. Many of them being accompanied by the poignant back stories of those that used the item on display which really brings home the personal journey many had during this conflict.
With knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers this is a very special place for both adults and children to visit.
They would love to hear from you if you have any items that could be displayed or if you are keen to volunteer."
