"Welcome to the 5th Day of Christmas!
On the 5th Day of Christmas, I am pleased to present - Bolney Wine Estate.
I always love visiting Bolney Wine Estate as it's a thriving local vineyard nestled in Mid Sussex with a friendly, hard working team producing award-winning English wines that taste fantastic! They have been going from strength to strength since 1972.
I was pleased to welcome the then DEFRA Secretary of State, Therese Coffey, to explore this beautiful vineyard to celebrate changes to give winemakers more freedom to flourish and the positive changes to alcohol duty.
As well as meeting with our brilliant Police and Crime Commissioner, Katy Bourne OBE, to discuss the impact of crime on rural communities, farmers, landowners and businesses in Sussex.
It's inspiring to see our very own Sussex countryside producing delicious, award-winning wines thanks to their expert knowledge, unwavering commitment to quality and careful land management."
