On the 6th Day of Christmas, Mims Davies MP presents - Steve Willis
Steve Willis Training Centres have two first-class facilities in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, and Portchester, Hampshire and Mims was thrilled to visit their local Burgess Hill branch.
Both centres offer high-quality training with a full range of the latest equipment in the workshops, and modern classrooms tailored to gas, electrical, oil and renewable training courses.
Through Mims' Ministerial role, she has launched programmes such as the Kickstart Scheme, which focuses on 16-24-year olds and is helping to encourage and support young people into apprenticeships which, Mims believes, this Government has been fantastic at promoting and funding. Apprenticeships teach people so many transferable skills and crucially help young people get into the routine of working. Not everyone is made for classroom learning, so it is very important young adults explore a wide range of options available to them and find what suits their way of learning.
Everyone should be able to enjoy the work they do, and Mims was pleased to see everyone at Steve Willis with a smile on their face. Please do visit their website for more information on this brilliant company.

"Welcome to the 6th Day of Christmas!
On the 6th Day of Christmas, I am pleased to present - Steve Willis
I was delighted to visit the Steve Willis Training Centre in Burgess Hill, such a magnificent, inspiring space! As well as having the huge honour of attending the Graduation Evening and giving the closing speech. We are incredibly lucky to have this crucial training centre in Burgess Hill.
This training centre specialises in short courses and apprenticeships in gas, plumbing and electricals – essential trades that we will always need, so I believe it is a really smart life choice and will lead to reliable, long-term careers.
As a Minister in The Department for Work and Pensions, it is always a delight when my constituency role can merge with my Ministerial one.
Thank you Steve Willis for all you do!"
