Mims Davies MP was thrilled to join part of the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run 2024.
This year's staging of the world's longest-running motoring event took place on Sunday 3rd November 2024, commemorating the famous Emancipation Run of November 1896.
Ahead of the event, a very useful Route Guide is provided for veteran car drivers with a concise route map, highlighting approximate times a driver can expect to travel through various locations, as well as the facilities and services available.

I did not expect this! I definitely should have had one of those glamorous hats.
Tony is my driver and we are currently in Burgess Hill - I'm out sneaking into the London to Brighton car rally - the 125th. Make sure to have a quick look at my video so you can see the absolute beauty we were driving in and other fantastic cars going past us.
We're here as part of the Wheel Car Club and we've been at the vets this morning where there was a semi official stop as part of the car rally and I've been broadcasting my community radio show live.
The brilliant Tony is raising money for charity too and all the money goes to beating Motor Neuron Disease - well done Tony.
