Mims Davies MP joins NFU Summer Reception.
The NFU's campaigns are uniting farmers, growers, the food sector and the general public to bring about positive change for the industry.
MPs and peers were invited to meet farming leaders to hear how they can work together to Back British Farming.
Attended not only by over 130 MPs and peers, but also NFU President Tom Bradshaw and NFU Cymru President Aled Jones in the House of Lords.
Mims Davies MP said:
"I was delighted to attend the NFU Summer Reception in the House of Lords discussing agriculture with farming leaders from all over the country.
It's so important we back British farming and ensure our farmers have the support they need, want and deserve.
Farmers do the essential job of keeping Britain fed and that’s why I support farming businesses and fully support the upgrades to our farming schemes since leaving the EU, with more money, more choice and more trust to support domestic food production whilst also protecting the environment.
Thank you to all the hard-working farmers in East Grinstead, Uckfield, our villages and beyond for all you do, and it is so much."
