Mims Davies MP shares funding opportunities for charities and community groups
Groundwork’s – One Stop Community Partnership Programme will open on Monday 2nd December and offer up to £1,000 grant funding for community organisations plus support from your local One Stop Store with volunteering, fundraising and awareness raising.

Successful applicants will receive an initial grant of up to £1,000 and begin a partnership with their local One Stop store. This programme is designed to support community groups or organisations operating within 2 miles of a One Stop store and which are:
- Tackling food poverty
- Supporting the vulnerable
- Supporting the elderly
- Supporting low-income families
- Running youth sports teams
- Reducing / recycling waste
- Improving the environment
YAPP Charitable Trust helps small charities sustain existing work. Areas of interest include:
- Social welfare
- The elderly and young
- Education and disability
YAPP offer grants to registered charities with a total annual expenditure of less than £40,000 and fund running costs.
Grants are normally for a max of £3,000 per year and will fund for up to 3 years.
Comic Relief’s Comic Relief Community Fund supports direct project costs or your core running expenses.
Does your organisation need extra support to deliver services or activities that benefit your community?
The Comic Relief Community Fund offers grants of up to £5,000 for grassroots, community-led organisations in England to help support the delivery of services and activity that benefit local communities. Funding is available to organisations with an income of less than £250,000 and who deliver against one of the below areas:
- Tackling immediate impacts of hardship
- Building resilience to poverty and hardship
- Working to support equity and inclusion
- Working to support climate justice
