Mims Davies MP said:
"Up to date local plans ensure local communities are in control of where and what development happens in their area.
They are key to getting more homes built in the right places. In Mid Sussex, under a Conservative administration, it has always been seen that this has been paramount to protecting and enhancing our area, planning for the future housing needs and stopping developer-led out of control sites springing up, but supporting keeping our area special but providing the homes and infrastructure we need.
This is always a difficult choice and challenging, but one a Council must take. Our Conservative Councillors have continued to deliver in their capacity as the minority part of the current make up with their support helping to deliver the updated plan that protects us all going forward.
I would therefore like to encourage all our local residents to take part in this consultation and share their views."
