Mims Davies MP speaks with Virgin Media, Three and Vodafone on improving signal in East Grinstead, Uckfield and our villages
Mims joined a Mobile Network event in Parliament discussing the lack of coverage in our area.
Another meeting is being organised on the topic with network providers directly about delivering better Mobile Network coverage in EGU for both residents and local businesses.
Earlier this year, Mims was pleased to welcome Gigabit Broadband coverage for 80% of the UK - thanks to investment by the Conservative Government.
Mims Davies MP said:
Families and businesses across East Grinstead, Uckfield and the villages rely heavily on the internet for work and leisure and our coverage needs improving.
This is why I was pleased to have the opportunity to speak with Virgin Media, Three and Vodafone on improving signal in East Grinstead, Uckfield and our villages.
Earlier this year we saw the Conservative Government delivering on ‘Project Gigabit’ - increasing coverage all over our constituency. This is making work and leisure faster for people and helping to grow our local economy, creating a brighter future for all.
I will continue to raise this issue and work hard on increasing coverage for all residents of EGU.
