Mims Davies MP was thankful to join Highbrook residents for their Sunday Remembrance Service.
The moving services that Mims was pleased to join were all very well attended by so many veterans together with all generations coming together to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
Mims has also taken a moment to thank her friends & colleagues who laid the UK House of Commons wreaths on her behalf at events she was unable to attend.
Mims Davies MP said:
"It was a huge honour & so immensely proud to be part of three more very poignant Remembrance Day Services starting in Highbrook at 09:00 at All Saints, joining the huge turnout at the War Memorial in East Grinstead & at All Saints in Lindfield.
So special to chat to so many wonderful people from Royal British Legion & all across our communities - who’ve proudly been part of these services.
Many thanks to all organisations & organisers who’ve made this possible & for the opportunity for so many to take part in the Act of Remembrance
It’s been another remarkable weekend of deep poignancy with some very thoughtful sermons, readings & togetherness as we give thanks to those who have given us so much and those who continue to serve and work daily to keep us safe.
