Mims Davies MP was thrilled to join the East Grinstead Summer Jazz Festival.
Whether you're a seasoned jazz fan, or new to the genre, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Jazz is fantastic music to take in and also even comes with health benefits - including reducing stress and anxiety, boosting creativity and cognitive function and overall improving mental wellness.
This fabulous festival consists of a vibrant weekend showcasing a wide range of jazz music performed in venues across the town including St Swithuns Church, Chequer Mead, Apron Cafe, The Ship Inn, Engine Room and more.

"Fabulous Friday evening courtesy of the amazing Jenny Green from Meridian FM Jazz & from East Grinstead Jazz Chequer Mead.
A truly magical start to the weekend of Jazz across the town - just loved it being at beautiful St Swithuns Church -a stunning venue and a brilliant set from Jenny -everyone SO enjoyed the brief history of Jazz all supporting the Being Neighbourly Charity.
Huge honour to meet 007with local links Madeline Smith, in the audience with former Town Mayor Cllr Adam Peacock & my friend Holly ‘The Brain Babe’ who is raising brain cancer awareness - at the inaugural East Grinstead Summer Jazz Festival supported by East Grinstead Town Council & Chequer Mead.
It was a fabulous line up across the weekend. Congratulations Jenny on the partnership and to all the 'Being Neighbourly' team alongside David Kent from the charity - this dedication to the partnership has created something really special for this weekend and years to come.
Huge work from lots of fabulous volunteers and supporters - bravo all you lovely people."
