"Hello from Uckfield College where I've been meeting the Citizens Advice team down at the library today and of course it's A level, AS level, T level results day!
It's been a really important day for students across East Grinstead, Uckfield and the villages - whether you're studying at Haywards Heath College, Uckfield College or any of the other wonderful education establishments we have, this week and next week are huge days for students, families and teachers.
A huge congratulations to my friend's son who is on his way to Cambridge - great achievement. However, if you're one of the many students who are not - please do not worry!
If you haven't quite got the grades you needed - please take advice, get support from your family and friends and clearing in particular who will have loads of information on next steps and don't forget there are amazing degree apprenticeships - which in fact my daughter's starting very shortly.
I hope today's been all you hoped for and good luck for the future!"
