Politics students at Haywards heath College were given an insight into Government today (Friday 29th April)
Mims Davies. MP for Mid Sussex, and Minister for Employment, spent time with the students at the college.
She discussed her own political career and her journey to becoming a Member of Parliament, as well as answering questions from the students who were keen to find out what being an MP really involves.
Mims Davies MP commented:
“It is always a great pleasure to attend Haywards Heath College, which is truly thriving again, and to meet their students and to speak about my life and work as a politician and hear their thoughts. As always their questions were searching and an insight into their lives is greatly appreciated for my work here and in Parliament.”
Paul Riley, Principal at Haywards heath College added:
“Once again, we are delighted to welcome Mims to the college. She has been a regular visitor, supporting the students and providing our students a great insight into frontline politics – something they will benefit from greatly in their studies. They will be able to draw from her experiences and the opportunity to find out what MPs do and how their work impacts all of us.”
