It's Christmas Eve!
On the 24th Day of Christmas, Mims Davies MP presents - Cats Protection and Jupps Fish and Chips
Mims Davies MP was pleased to visit Cats Protection’s National Cat Adoption Centre to see first-hand how the charity helps cats both in the local area and across the UK.
The centre, in Chelwood Gate, rehomes hundreds of unwanted and abandoned cats every year across Sussex. Mims met staff and volunteers at the centre before a behind-the-scenes tour where she met some of the cats currently looking for new homes.
Jupps was founded some 57 years ago by Dennis and Sheila who built the business up. One of their 3 children, Martyn, took over back in 1987 with his wife Marie and children Louisa & Megan.
Jupps Fish and Chips is based in Burgess Hill on 80 West Street, RH15 8NX, and pride themselves in only serving the best fish and chips.
All their products are cooked to order, if you cannot see what you require, you can simply ask on arrival. Jupps work on the moto "only sell what you would eat or give to any of the family".

On the 24th Day of Christmas, I am pleased to present - Cats Protection and Jupps Fish and Chips
It was a joy to visit Cats Protection during the first week of recess this Summer. I was delighted to visit the Cats Protection’s National Cat Adoption Centre in Chelwood Gate, meeting with the staff, volunteers and seeing the kittens and the cats currently awaiting rehoming.
It was fantastic to see how well all the cats are cared for by staff and volunteers who go the extra mile to ensure the welfare of their feline residents.
Cats Protection relies on donations and volunteers, so if you have some free time and love cats, please do get in touch with them - they would love to hear from you.
Jupps is a true family business, launched 57 years ago by Dennis and Sheila, with one of their children, Martyn, joining the business too. This fabulous fish and chips business truly work hard to provide only the best and 'only sell what you would eat or give to any of the family'!"
