This week Mims Davies, MP for Mid Sussex, visited Head Teacher Lorraine Kenny, Staff and Pupils at Bolney Primary School.
Bolney Primary School enjoys a rural location within the village of Bolney and is well supported by parents and the local community.
Mims enjoyed a tour of the school and visited Silver Birch Class to chat about her life in Parliament and answer questions posed by the children.
MP for Mid Sussex. Mims Davies commented:
“I was delighted to visit Bolney Primary as they celebrate their 150th year anniversary and to see the amazing tapestry that has been made to celebrate this remarkable event. The work that has been put into this is phenomenal and I am so pleased to have been able to see it on my visit. The children as always were fantastic and asked well thought out and in depth questions that were a pleasure to answer. I wish Lorraine Kenny, all the fabulous staff and children all the best for not only this year, but in the years to come.”
A 150th anniversary tapestry, in the shape of an oak tree, which is also the school emblem has been designed and created by the pupils, staff, parents and the local community to mark this amazing event.
