Mims Davies MP and County Councillor Roy Galley were thrilled to invite residents of Nutley to a free Q&A event to raise any local concerns.
Mims and Cllr Roy Galley were quizzed on a wide range of topics on the day that East Sussex County Council debated the Labour government's plans for reorganisation of local authorities in England.
Residents also raised a number of other matters which were mainly dominated by planning issues on top of issues with the roads and the lack of mobile connectivity as well as the treasure that is nearby Ashdown Forest during the event at the village hall.
Mims' aim is to be as accessible as possible and has been organising meetings all over East Grinstead, Uckfield and the villages to ensure residents have the chance to not only raise issues and concerns via email and phone, but also in person.
Mims Davies MP said:
I was thrilled to join residents of Nutley alongside County Councillor Roy Galley for a Q&A event.
These events are vital to have boots on the ground and speak with residents face to face on what their concerns and priorities are for our lovely area.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and asked us questions and I look forward to my next Meet Mims event in Newick.
