Mims Davies MP was honoured to sign the Holocaust Educational Trust Book of Commitment in Parliament today on Holocaust Memorial Day
For a Better Future is the theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2025.
This Holocaust Memorial Day marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration camp complex, and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Bosnia.
There are many things Mims and all of us can do to create a better future for all including speaking up against Holocaust and genocide denial and distortion and challenge prejudice, we can encourage others to learn about the Holocaust and more recent genocides.
80 years on from the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, as living witnesses rely on us to carry forward their legacy, silence must not be an option.
Mims Davies MP said:
I was honoured to sign the Holocaust Educational Trust Book of Commitment in the House of Commons on today, Holocaust Memorial Day.
Holocaust Memorial Day is an important opportunity for people to reflect on the darkest times of European history, with this year’s theme being For a Better Future.
We must become the generations who carry forward the legacy of the witnesses, remember those who were murdered and speak out against all forms of antisemitism and pay tribute to all those persecuted.
