Every year, Mims sends her Christmas card to businesses and friends across Mid Sussex, as well as up and down the country - including the Prime Minister - that features a design from some of our brilliantly creative residents.
This year, Mims chose the fantastic charity, Headway Sussex, and asked their Art Therapy class to create a Christmas design that could be on the front of Mims' Christmas card for 2023.
Seen in the video is the magical design produced by two members of Headway staff, Sally and Kate. Kate is a new member of Headway staff who is recovering from a brain injury and wouldn’t have been able to produce this 12 months ago.
The Winner and runner ups will be announced shortly, so stay tuned!
We're really pleased to announce this year, to really encourage entrants to get creative, the theme is simply "Christmas". Instead of limiting designs to a certain theme, so as long as their designs look Christmas-y, they're in for a chance of winning!
Headway Sussex offers reablement and support opportunities for people with an acquired brain injury, and their family Carers. A brain injury can be the result of many different causes including stroke, accident, tumour, infection, sporting injury or assault.
Headway Sussex also offer a varied Living Well Programme for personal wellbeing including individual support to achieve independence, tailored reablement and therapy, client and Carer groups, social and relaxation opportunities together with information and advice. They are expanding their services to reach more people in town communities right across East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.

"This year my Christmas card has been designed by Sussex Headway's brilliantly creative participants Art Therapy Group.
I am so delighted with their entries. Headway supported my dad after his brain injury and I was thrilled to give their Art Therapy group a project to showcase their amazing talents.
A huge thank you to all of the people that took part in the competition and took the time to create a brilliant Christmas card design."
